Dance

Dance has been the underlying thread that has steered my life. As a child and teen, it helped me deal with my restlessness and acted as therapy for my growing pains, as a professional it became a love story that is still strong and thriving. And even though I am not as active as in my younger years, I still love to dance, teach and choreograph with the same passion.

I have extensive experience in coaching young dancers, using all the tools I have cultivated as a Professional Dancer, Yogi, and Bodyworker, so if you are a budding professional and want to take your dance to the next level, or deal with psychological and emotional blockages, get in touch. I love to help those brave and passionate young girls who - like me once upon a time - want to bet on dance as a career.

There have been many chapters in this part of my career, below are links to some of my most recent things, to the school where I’m currently teaching, and to my former studio that is still operating under the loving guidance of some of my dancers.

The Movement LAB

In 2020, I opened a dance studio in Lagos, Portugal, which I still consider home. It was a beautiful project where dancers from all over the world came to sweat together with me and my crew. We opened right in the midst of the lockdown, and although it wasn’t easy, it was truly a labor of love that I am happy keeps going to this day. Now under the leadership of some of the gorgeous dancers I collaborate with.

BASE23

In Stockholm I teach at BASE23, a beautiful dance school that is truly dedicated to the art and its students, and I feel so privileged to be able to continue sharing my knowledge and experience with both vocational students and dance enthusiasts.

And… a little video that I made during lockdown, to channel my frustration Dance as therapy in the truest sense of the word…
